East coast family road trip

Our East Coast Road Trip Itinerary Planning

We are planning an epic summer road trip for 2017. We are planning this as not only a way to knock off some of our travel bucket list activities but as an experiment to see if we could travel long term in the future. The digital nomad is appealing to us but we need to test out the way of life before committing to it.  So we are planning an East Coast road trip, from South Florida all the way to Niagra Falls and back down to Florida. What an amazing trip it will be! There is so much to see on East Coast road trip in the USA. So narrowing down our attractions will be a challenge. The East Coast is chock full of cities with amazing history, family attractions, great food, and some awesome scenery.

Our goal is to plan one of the best East Coast road trips there is for a family with two small children!

This post is to help us track the planning progress while inspiring others to take an adventure of their own. You can use the tools I find and create a road trip of your own. Plus see what destinations we are looking forward to the most. And get excited to read all about it next year!

Our East Coast Road Trip Attractions Bucket List

This is our East Coast road trip itinerary for summer 2017. It is a work in progress as we research the route we should take and sites to see. In planning, we are trying to check off as many bucket list places for each state we go through. We plan to take a couple of months for this road trip, though we haven’t set the exact time frame since we are unsure how long we want to stay in each place.

Our points of interests are below. This list will grow and gain more detail as the trip gets closer. But for now, this is the framework to what will be an epic family USA East Coast Road Trip!
