The Edgewater Beach Hotel is an all-suite hotel located on seven miles of the quiet Gulf Coast beach of Southwest Florida in Naples. This is an older hotel that has been taken well care of and upgraded nicely.
Everyone from the valet, front desk, restaurant servers & pool staff were nothing less than extraordinary in their attention to needs, and most importantly it was all done with a smile; you will feel like you are talking with friends on every interaction with the staff at the Edgewater Beach Hotel.
A suite escape in Southwest Florida
The rooms are all spacious suites with comfortable beds. and the entire property makes you feel at home while being surrounded by upscale beauty. Our two-bedroom suite was as beachfront as you can get with views from the balcony of both the gulf and the pool. The room was huge and had everything you need for a great stay- full kitchen (stovetop but no oven), 2 full bathrooms (one with tub, and one with huge shower), 1 king bed, 1 Queen bed, and 3 televisions with DirecTV. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had a K-Cup brewer with free K-cups and Fiji water, which was a nice touch. Large six-person dining table, l-shaped sofa, and seating for 4 on the balcony. Trust me when I say, you will not be cramped!
Dining at The Edgewater Beach Hotel
There are two dining options at Edgewater: Coast and the Pool Bar. Plus they offer some unique in-room dining services like the Picnic Brunch. We had a large picnic basket delivered to us for a breakfast that we could enjoy on the beach. It included everything from croissants to fresh berries, smoked salmon and grilled shrimp!
Coast is the hotel’s main restaurant. It is placed off the lobby, but extends outside to a patio overlooking the palm framed pool and the beautiful beach. Coast is open for breakfast lunch, and dinner. Just be aware that prices are steep as one comes to expect at this caliber of hotel.
The menu offers a selection of classic Florida items like a blackened grouper sandwich, a Trio of fresh and healthy fish tacos, and a lobster roll for lunch. For dinner, I enjoyed a delicious filet with a massive side of lobster mac-and-cheese.
