Building our home with Pulte: Month 1 – Getting on the Waitlist
The pandemic is constantly changing the homebuilding process. Soon into 2021, I knew I needed to make a move with my dream of building a home in Babcock Ranch. I felt like I was jumping before I was ready, but then again when are you ever really ready. I knew what I wanted and I didn’t want to miss my chance because if things kept going in the direction they were going then this time next year my dream home may cost more than I can afford… so today I jumped!
I am calling this month one of the home-building process because it is where everyone has to start right now.
Get on the waitlist for the community, lot size and home style you want. when it is released by the builder you must be ready to sign a contract and make the downpayment. So I paid my $5,000 Good Faith money and my name went on a list then I wait for anything official. They estimate in a month I will get contacted as my turn to finalize a lot.
If you know me, you know I am not the sit and wait for type, so it drives me nuts to not have anything in concrete. But it marks the beginning. The beginning of what I have been working so hard to accomplish these past 4 years. So it felt good to write that check that went toward nothing specific… LOL
So here I am at Month One of building my dream home with Pulte at Babcock Ranch and I have literally no details other than at least I know I am on a list to get a lot in the neighborhood of the future!
