The Lighthouse is home to the hotel restaurant and bar. There is seating available for 300 guests indoors at the buffet restaurant. This is also the location of the big sandcastle built from hundreds of legos. Kids love this spot at the hotel and it was fun to see all their creative additions to the sandcastle.
Brick’s Beach Bar
The hotel bar is located adjacent to the buffet inside but also has a window so that guests at the pool do not have to come inside. The bar serves a number of draft and bottled beer, wines, and signature cocktails. I enjoyed their margarita very much! They offer a small menu of made to order food as well as a take-out pizza.
Sandy’s Castle Buffet Restaurant
Keep in mind if you are not staying at the Beach Retreat Hotel you might be confused to find out that this LEGOLAND restaurant is actually located across the street from the Legoland theme park.
Complimentary breakfast buffet
The breakfast buffet is served daily for free to all hotel guests staying at the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat Resort. The daily breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus, roasted tomatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy, pancakes, french toast sticks, tater tots, oatmeal, grits, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted cereals, bread, assorted juices and fresh coffee.
Dinner Time
The nightly dinner buffet is Caribbean-inspired. It is open to anyone and doesn’t require reservations. The nightly selection includes mahi mahi, jerk chicken, beef kebobs, rosemary potatoes, rice and beans, plantain tostones, Caribbean bean soup, vegetables with pesto, beef and chicken fajitas, barbecue chicken, bay scallops, peel-and-eat shrimp, Asian noodle salad, watermelon salad, salad bar, grilled chicken tenders, pigs in a blanket, steamed broccoli, and macaroni and cheese.
At the time of this post, the buffet cost: $19.99 (plus tax) for guests 13 and older; $12.99 (plus tax) for children 7-12; and $7.99 (plus tax) for children 3-6. There’s no charge for children under 3. Please check with the restaurant for current pricing and menu.
