LEGOLAND Florida has become one of our favorite theme parks in Florida and its popularity is growing. Read my tips on how to make the most of one day at LEGOLAND Florida. This is no surprise with all the family-friendly events that take place throughout the year at LEGOLAND Florida to make the visit an extraordinary day at a theme park. LEGOLAND Florida has expanded a lot recently and so has the special event schedule. Check out this exciting list of special events that are included in your daily admission if you plan your visit on the scheduled event date:
LEGO Batman Movie Celebration – March
LEGOLAND Florida is hosting a special LEGO Batman Movie Celebration on select weekends in March that will be a blast for Batman fans like myself. There will be photo opportunities with LEGO Batman, a scavenger hunt, and LEGO Batman themed LEGO builds just to name a few.
KIDZ Bop Weekend – April
If the little ones love KIDZ Bop Kids singing their favorite pop hits, you must take them to LEGOLAND Florida on the last weekend of April for a high-energy day of fun!
LEGO Star Wars – May
Disney World is not the only park celebrating The Force. This Lucasfilm-authorized event features some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars™ , plus activities and a costume parade for the kiddos.
LEGOLAND Knight Lights – July
This is their special summer event offering extended park hours with a firework show and LEGO light displays on select days in July. There will also be chances to meet the heroes of the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS and build custom LEGO creations with the Master Builders!
Firefighter Fridays
Many kids are fascinated with firefighters. If this is your child then they would love to attend this event. On these select days, there will be fun and educational activities focusing on fire safety with the chance to meet real firefighters.
Brick or Treat – October
Halloween is a sweet time at Florida theme parks and LEGOLAND Florida has it’s own version of trick or treat fun on select dates in October. We have enjoyed this event with the kids and look forward to going back this year to explore the park in our costumes while racking up some candy!
Christmas Bricktacular – December
A wonderfully festive holiday celebration, LEGO-style. Themed activities and a 3d fireworks show. We enjoyed this event in 2016. My son is still talking about the Santa search in Miniland.
