Planning the details of our Epic Family Road Trip this summer is in full swing now that the holiday season is behind us. So many places are on our wish list to visit; I cannot wait to see what all we are able to see and do! Like maybe flying…
Road Trip —> East, TN
Today I started working on the details of our East Tennesee portion of the trip. I am excited to say we will be visiting the first and longest running vertical wind tunnel open to the public: Flyaway Indoor Skydiving!
I can’t wait to show off how our experience goes but here is the run down of what each flyaway experience is like.
The Flyaway Experience
The experience begins with a quick classroom training to learn the basics of human flight in the vertical wind tunnel. Then each guest gets assisted with the flight gear before taking flight. My first question was – would it be helpful if I had some type of experience in anything specific? And the answer is no experience necessary because the instructors will be there to guide the flight!
