As the mom who throws all the parties, plans all the details for fun vacations, makes holidays extra special, and anticipates nothing in return it is so nice to get invited to a cute event that is just for us!
I personally appreciate when teachers who we know are already stretched to their limits take the time to plan special things like the Muffins for Mom event I enjoyed today! Muffins, juice and cute crafts made by my kiddos with cute answers on why they love me so much.
A small gesture goes a long way. It is nice to feel appreciated and experience something that someone put as much time into as I typically spend on making moments special for my family.
And because I realize now that I am a mom how much my mother sacrificed when she was my age, so I brought her to enjoy the event too. Because Mimi was a fabulous mom before she graduated to grandmother!
