Living in Southwest Florida, we have the opportunity to visit the Florida Keys often. For summer break we decided to spend a week exploring different area with our last stop Key West. We wanted the last few days of our trip to be special, so picking the perfect hotel was key. I decided that an ocean front luxury hotel with outdoor activities would be an ideal option. Oceans Edge Resort & Marina looked like the perfect match.
The Location of this Florida Keys Luxury Hotel
The location is not actually in Key West but Stock Island, the last island before entering Key West. It is a residential area and the road did not look exactly how I imagined driving up to a luxury resort would look. But once we arrived at the end of the road and drove through the resort gated entrance, the scene changed immediately into a charming little garden. Lush greenery was everywhere. We arrived around 3pm to check-in. The front desk staff was polite, helpful and very welcoming. The check-in process was simple and quick. We had a suite in building two. Guests are encouraged to park in front of the building in which your room is located.

Choosing the right accommodations for your family is key to a successful vacation, and Ocean’s Edge has you covered. The resort boasts a variety of spacious room options, including suites. Whether you’re a family of three five like us or a larger group, you’ll find the perfect space to unwind after a day of adventure. All of the rooms have nautical-inspired decor and have furnished balconies with gorgeous ocean views. They have flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi access, minifridges, and coffeemakers. Suites have the added living area and a wet bars. I must say that our room was impressive in size and in comfort. It was a suite and slept our family of 5 perfectly. True luxury accommodations with amazing views.
