After taking my kids to Orlando so many times, I knew I wanted to explore with them more of the off the beaten path beach towns in Florida. So we took a little roadtrip to the quaint town of Delray Beach; just a couple hours drive from Babcock Ranch. And since I was choosing to have a more relaxed, low key trip I chose a hidden treasure for our accommodations: Crane’s Beach House Boutique Hotel and Luxury Villas.
The Location of this Delray Beach Boutique Hotel
If you drove around Gleason Road in Delray, you just might miss it. It is somewhat hidden within a quaint, quiet block within the bustling historic beachside community of Delray Beach, Florida. This luxurious hideaway is barely visible through the perimeter’s tree line, which explains why Crane’s Beach House has earned “Delray’s hidden treasure” title. It is truly located in a perfect spot. Walkable distance to the beach and tons of restaurants and bars.

The Rooms at Crane’s Beach House
We stayed in one of the Deluxe One Bedroom Suites (room 20 to be exact). I was thoroughly pleased with the layout, the amount of space and amenities to give it a convenient, yet homey feel. The deluxe one bedroom suite offers a private bedroom with a king size bed, a pullout sofa (which all 3 of our kids slept on together perfectly fine), one bathroom, a full kitchen, 2 tv’s and a private balcony. There were beach chairs and towels in the closet for us to use along with 2 comfy bath robes.
Complimentary coffee with the Nespresso machine is in the kitchen. I found the kitchen to be fully stocked with all the utensils and dishes needed for homemade meals during your stay. If you don’t want to take a quick run to the store then you can grab an adult beverage or snack from the items available in the room at an additional charge. (there was even ice cream in the freezer!) My favorite part is the private balcony for relaxing and enjoying my daily coffee/wine!
In addition to this King Bedroom Suite, there are additional room types available: studio room, one bedroom suite and a luxury villa. I recommend booking straight from their website for the best rates and experience.
The Amenities at Crane’s Beach House
There are two tropical saline swimming pools nestled within a beautiful tropical setting. A large private courtyard with lush greenery and also an outdoor living room with a hammock for some relaxing time or socializing, complimentary parking, and a secure gated entrances. Each room has includes pool/beach towels, beach chairs and comfy robes to use during your stay.
Overall, my entire family loved Crane’s Beach House. It offered a unique hotel experience within a prime location in Delray Beach. Being able to disappear into a little oasis while being within minutes be of the downtown area full of entertainment, restaurants, and activities made for a well-balanced family trip. Without a doubt, I would suggest this hotel to couples, families, and groups alike. If you are looking for low-key yet affordable tropical getaway, Crane’s will fill your need.

I’m impressed with the fact that there were also beach chairs and towels available in the closet for your use. The Nespresso machine and fully stocked kitchen are also great amenities to have during your stay. It’s also nice to know that you can grab a snack or adult beverage at an additional charge if you don’t feel like running to the store. It sounds like the private balcony was your favourite part of the suite. I can definitely understand why – it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy your daily coffee or wine while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Nnniiiccceeeee….this Delray beach house looks really good from here! It will be a good place to hide away with the boys, for a while!

We lived in Delray Beach for 1 year, and it’s such a great town with all of the restaurants, bars, and shops. And the beach is beautiful. The Cranes Beach house hotel looks really beautiful and fun!

I’ve never been to Delray Beach before, it looks super cute! I grew up across the state in Fort Myers so didn’t go to the Atlantic coast very often.
Fort Myers is where I lived the past 10 years and just moved to Babcock Ranch right out side of FM last year! small world 🙂
