Pizza Sliders For a Quick Dinner Solution
Sometimes I get in the mood for pizza flavors but I am tired of the same familiar pizza options and I am in too much of a time crunch to wait for delivery. This is how I felt this weekend. My daughter loves Hawaiian sweet rolls, so between all our weekend errands we created a pizza using her favorite rolls. This recipe is a perfect go-to dinner when in a rush because it takes less than 20 minutes from start to finish. Plus it doesn’t take too many ingredients.
What is great about this simple recipe is that you can mix up the toppings for a variety of pizza sliders. Our family loves the combo of pepperoni and pineapple, so this weekend we made some cheesy Hawaiian pizza sliders. They turned out to be a delicious, quick finger food dinner.
Instructions:
1 Package of Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
3/4 cup Pizza Sauce
1/2 pack Pepperoni (I prefer turkey-roni)
4 oz can of Pineapple slices
6 slices of Mozzarella cheese
Melt 1/2 stick butter with spices of choice (basil, oregano, garlic salt)
Ingredients:
- Cut Hawaiian rolls in half
- Spread the pizza sauce
- Layer pepperoni and pineapple to cover rolls
- Cover with cheese slices
- Top rolls and brush with spiced butter
- Cover dish with aluminum foil
- Bake at 425 for 10 minutes
