Labadee, Haiti Cruise Port
Labadee is my favorite Royal Caribbean cruise port. If Labadee, Haiti is on your Royal Caribbean cruise’s itinerary then you may want to consider renting a cabana. Here are some things you need to know about renting one of the cabanas as part of your day on the private island.
Renting a Private Cabana in Labadee, Haiti
For a relaxing and pampered day in Labadee, I highly suggest renting a private cabana. The cabanas are located in two areas: Nellie’s Beach and Barefoot Beach (suites guests only). Keep in mind that there are a limited amount of cabanas. As a suite guest, you have the benefit booking the cabanas prior to the cruise through the ships concierge services. Once aboard all other guests have the opportunity to reserve any available cabanas on a first come basis.
Are Labadee Cabanas Worth The Cost?
Labadee cabanas are great for cruise guests wanting to spend the entire day on the island and have an upscale private beach experience with lower crowds. For those with young kids this is the perfect way to spend a full day in paradise because they get shade and naptime.
Labadee Cabana Rentals
The cabana prices range from $295-$500 based on their location. The highest-priced cabanas are the ones sitting over the water. Included in the rental cost is full day access to your own private cabana furnished with two lounge chairs and a sofa. You will receive towels, 4 bottles of water, floats, snorkel gear and have an upgraded lunch buffet. You also have your own cabana attendant who will bring you any items from the bar or help you with information about the island.
The benefit of Reserving a Suite on a Cruise
As a suite guest on Royal Caribbean, we had first access to the cabana rentals online but I saw non-suite guests traveling with us also have access to book the Nellie beach cabanas online. I personally recommend for suite guests to email their concierge prior to the cruise to ensure you get your preferred location reserved.
Add excitement to your relaxation
If you want to add a little excitement to your relaxing day in Labadee I suggest booking the Dragon’s Flight Zipline. This is the word’s longest over water zipline and a memorable experience. We have done it three times!
Watch our Labadee zipline excursion video and read the details on how this amazing excursion will make your port visit amazing.
