A family fun night at Silverball Retro Arcade

June 28, 2023

We had a fun family night at the Silverball Retro Arcade (also known as the Silverball Museum) on our recent Florida staycation in Delray Beach. Upon entering, we were given our wrist bands and all the info we needed to enjoy the night and immediately you realize that this is not your average “museum.” The entrance fee gets you unlimited play time for the amount of time you selected on the many pinball machines (some are classics more than 50 years old) and others that are very recent. Plus a few of the other video games such as Pac Man, Donkey Kong, skee ball, baseball, basketball, air hockey etc. There are two floors of more than 100 arcade machines. One moderate price and you play all night. Plus a full bar with drinks and food!

Whether you’re aan experienced pinball wizard or have never played, there’s something fun for every age and level at this cool, interactive pinball museum. I love that each game has a card with some info above it’s history. It is fun to compare the games based on the years they were created and find out which games each of us liked.

You can enjoy food & drinks at Silverball Retro Arcade

In addition to its massive retro selection of arcade games, Silverball also has a fully stocked bar and restaurant. So if you get hungry or thirsty during your visit, you can just head over to the bar and grab something to eat or drink. We took a seat up stairs to enjoy some snacks: huge pretzel, large pizza slices, mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers. All on par with my expectations. We had zero left overs.

Everything is reasonably priced at all times— but Happy Hour is from noon – 7 pm with half-price drinks and a $6.00 food menu. Making it a perfect early evening activity for a family.
