Orlando, Florida has no lack of hotels perfect for your next family vacation. I have written about many and each are unique in their own ways. If you are planning to spend a few days enjoyinging all the food, attractions and fun on the popular International Drive then you will want to continue reading about my recent stay at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive.

I love exploring all the fun that Florida has to offer. And luckily my kids enjoy roadtrips as much as I do. Orlando is an easy drive from South Florida, so we go there often. On this weekend getaway I decided to just focus our time on the activities and food at the I-Drive 360 Entertainment complex. After our 3 hour drive, our first stop was the hotel to unload our bags, potty and change clothes.

Wyndham Orlando Location: I-Drive Orlando
Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is the perfect hotel for a budget friendly Orlando family vacation located in the middle of I-drive’s entertainment complex and nearby theme parks. I wanted to take the kids to the SEALife Aquarium, Orlando Eye and Madame Tssauds Wax museum. This hotel was ideal because we could walk from our room to the I-Drive 360 complex in about 15 minutes. When I say budget friendly I mean it—parking is free and no added fees to the nightly rate! There is aslo a complimentary shuttle to all of Orlando’s world-famous theme parks.

The Room at Wyndham Orlando Resort Idrive: Family Suite
The resort recently went under a multi-million dollar renovation to the hotel grounds including the guest rooms. Upgrades include upscale touches, such as pillow-top mattresses, massaging showers and 40-inch flat-screen TVs. I highly reccomend booking the family suite. This room is great! The kids had theirown little corner space with a large bunk bed, their own TV and a bean bag chair.
The Amenities at Wyndham Orlando:
The hotel property is beautiful – tons of green space to enjoy in the middle of a theme park and entertainment district with lush gardens and winding lagoons! There are two pools with tons of chairs and a poolside bar & grill, a nice fitness room, sauna, steam room and a small playground.
